I am so very blessed to be able to do what I do for a living. This past week 50 of my kindergarten through second grade students were included in an art exhibit in downtown Tulsa. It was a big deal. A reception with lemonade and cookies. Brand new outfits. Lots of families coming to take photos of their young artist with the work of art. Even more exciting was that this was on a First Friday Art Walk Tour so many more art lovers were taking a peek at the beautiful art my students created. Add to all that the sheer beauty of a cool fall evening in our beautiful downtown under the moon and stars and you have an event!
